Micro-Needling
A new way to make collagen

Micro-needling is an FDA-approved electronic device that uses multiple fine needles to vertically pierce the skin. This causes collagen remodeling and enhances skin rejuvenation. Unlike needle rollers, micro-needling uses a precisely-controlled stamping method to reach a set depth in the skin while minimizing excess damage to the epidermis.

The process is also called Collagen Induction Therapy and is used to improve:

• Texture and tone   â€¢ Surface scarring     â€¢ Fine wrinkles

How does it work?

Micro needling is based on the use of tiny needles to create micro channels (tiny holes) in the skin.  The process stimulates your skin’s natural ability to heal itself and in the process produces collagen and elastin.

This repair process begins almost immediately and results in a thicker dermis and softened wrinkles or scars.

There is no tissue destruction with micro needling. The small channels in the epidermis close very quickly and the skin begins a healing response right away.
An outstanding product absorption booster, these superficial micro-channels also allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively into the skin. Specific treatment products can be selected to achieve accelerated results. We’ll employ various topicals depending upon your needs:

  • Hyaluronic serums, other specialty serums

  • Stem cells to multiply new young cells

  • Vitamin C for strengthening and antioxidant boost

Pricing:

Mild to medium depth with hyaluronic serum  $150

Micro needling can safely be used on nearly all parts of the body with the most frequent treatments being on the: Face, Neck, Decollete, Arms, however micro needling is often used to reduce signs of stretch marks and post surgical scars anywhere on the body.

Healing time is about 3 days. The first day your face is red, 2nd day pink, 3rd day healing should be completed.

Wash with mild soap, moisturize with unscented alcohol free product, apply sunscreen.

Mineral make up can be applied at any time during healing process.
